The Skydat GX1 has the following functions that can all be displayed in 3 different sets of units (Imperial (UK), Imperial (US), and Metric):

FLIGHT INFORMATION

• ASI (airspeed indicator) in km/h or mi/h
           20 MPH to 110 MPH and then 100 MPH to 192 MPH (automatic switchover)
• Altitude in meters or feet (will barometric pressure adjustment)
           -320ft to 16,000ft
• VSI (vertical speed indicator) in m/s or ft/min
           0 to +/- 1,500 FPM
• Flight Duration, in hours; mins; secs
• Air Temperature, in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit
• Glide Ratio

ENGINE INFORMATION

• Engine RPM
• Engine Hours, in hours; minutes
• Fuel consumption, instantaneous and accumulated, l/hr or gal/hr

Depending on the type of engine or configuration selected, the following indications are also displayed:

• 2 x CHT (cylinder head temperature) Celsius or Fahrenheit
• 2 x EGT (exhaust gas temperature) Celsius or Fahrenheit
• Water Temperature, Celsius or Fahrenheit
• Oil Temperature, Celsius or Fahrenheit (Not used on Rotax 618!)
• Oil Pressure, bars or PSI (range 0 to 9.9 bars) (Not used on Rotax 618!)
• Battery Voltage

The above indications trigger an alarm if the user adjustable alarm threshold is exceeded.

• The unit has a backlight for twilight flying.
• The Skydat GX1 display can function in temperatures from >0 deg C (32 deg F) to <45 deg C (115 deg F).
